Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is issued by ARCOS Tasarım Mimarlık ve Mobilya Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“ARCOS”) as data controller under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the related Communiqué on the procedures for fulfilling the obligation to inform.

Personal Data We Process

Identity data (first and last name), contact data (phone number, email address), customer transaction data (project type, project location, message content, meeting notes) and transaction security data (the page a request was sent from, ad source parameters, date and time). Information you share with us by phone, email or WhatsApp is processed on the same basis.

How We Collect It

Your personal data is collected through the consultation form on this website, email, phone, WhatsApp and in-person meetings, by non-automated and partly automated means.

Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your data to review your consultation request, contact you, prepare proposals, manage contract and project processes and meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are Article 5(2)(c) of the KVKK (processing directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract), Article 5(2)(ç) (compliance with a legal obligation) and Article 5(2)(f) (legitimate interest). Submitting the form does not mean you consent to marketing messages or newsletters; we will ask for your separate consent before sending any.

Sharing

Your data may be shared, only to the extent necessary to provide the service, with the providers of our form and email infrastructure, our web hosting provider, contractors and suppliers involved in your project, financial and legal advisers, and with competent authorities where required by law. Because some of these providers operate servers outside Türkiye, data may be transferred abroad in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as the purpose of processing requires. Where a contract is concluded, the statutory limitation and retention periods apply (generally 10 years); requests that do not lead to a contract are deleted, destroyed or anonymized within two years at the latest.

Data Security

We apply technical and administrative measures such as encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access authorization, confidentiality undertakings and regular reviews to prevent unlawful processing of or access to your data.

Your Rights (Article 11 of the KVKK)

By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information if it has been processed
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion or destruction of your data under Article 7 of the KVKK
• Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
• Object to a result that works against you arising from analysis by exclusively automated systems
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

How to Apply

You can submit your request, together with information that verifies your identity and in line with the Communiqué on the procedures for applying to the data controller, by email to info@arcosmimarlik.com or in writing to the postal address above. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

To measure where requests come from (UTM parameters), a small first-party record is stored in your browser’s local storage; it is not shared with third parties. If analytics or ad measurement tools such as Google Tag Manager are added, this notice will be updated and your consent requested where required.
